Washington Advocates for Palestinian Rights is working to create a statewide network of advocates who can contact and lobby their state representatives when anti-BDS bills or any legislation impacting Palestinian rights are introduced in the legislature. This can be as simple as an occasional phone call or email to your representatives, or can include actively organizing with others in your legislative district and building relationships with state-level Congress persons and Senators.
WAPR coordinates closely with The U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR), a diverse national coalition of hundreds of groups and more than 100,000 individuals working to end U.S. support for Israel’s military occupation and apartheid policies toward Palestinians. They support a just and lasting peace for Palestinians and Israelis based on human rights, international law, equality, and relevant UN resolutions.
